Books are a great way to learn at your own pace. Remember that books are easily accessible these days in audio format so that you can listen on-the-go.
There are so many books on the market on personal finance and related topics that it can be hard to cut through all of the noise. I’ve read many over the years but there are a few that stand out for me and I know that these will help you.
- The Bible – Jesus taught many times on money. The Bible is full of practical advice on being a good steward of what God has provided. Of course, it’s THE book on stewardship.
- The Total Money Makeover – This book by financial legend, Dave Ramsey, is full of practical knowledge coupled with real stories of people that have conquered debt and are mastering money. This is one that I’ve read several times and it impacts my life each time.
- The Blessed Life – Pastor Robert Morris of Gateway Church has a phenomenal story of how God has worked through giving and finances in his life. In his book he has woven his story with solid stewardship principles. I plan to re-read The Blessed Life yearly to reinforce the principles that Robert teaches.
I want to encourage you to take the time to read and continue learning. I strongly believe that reading and consuming good content consistently will positively impact your life.
